Within each Wheel of Fortune game, there are three different kinds of mini-games inserted between every few rounds. Mini-games can be turned on or off in the player selection menu by selecting 'options' (the game default has them turned on). This will save you from risking landing on bankrupt before the final spin occurs.
If you land on a wedge you really want, try guessing one of the consonants listed to give yourself the best chance at it, but if you know there is a different letter definitely in the puzzle, choose that one instead (pretty common sense, but you never know!). This does not always work, however, so be careful spinning if you have the $1 million wedge in your possession. Generally if you spin at the lowest possible power the wheel will spin around once and land about three wedges in front of where you started.
This saves you time in having to type in every letter.
